Hopefully these will help you not only succeed on the AP English Language and Composition Exam, but also prepare you for the college board exam. The first tip I would like to offer you is that I would never tell you that a specific essay was the most important part of your essay. It may be the most important part of your essay, or it may not, but it is not the most important thing in my opinion. You need to remember that the success or failure of your AP English Language and Composition Exam is completely dependent on the content of your essay. It is something that must come out of you as well as come from you alone. Your writing is the foundation of your education and you will make that essay stand out if you follow these tips. The easiest wa y to get through this AP English Language and Composition Exam is to know your objective. Know why you are taking the exam, and what your goal is. Write out your goals in bullet points. Now think about how much time you have to write an essay. It may seem impossible to get it all down in one sitting, but think about how much time you have and see how long you can put it off before you have to stop. Be sure to format your notes so that you can jot down what you learned and what you want to learn. Keep it simple but get the points across. There are some questions that are designed to be hard, but if you use these as practice questions then you will be prepared for the actual English Language and Composition Exam. Knowing the basics and remembering how to apply those basics is the first step to getting through the test. There are online resources available for every type of writing that you will be required to take for college board exams. Use these resources to review your notes and make sure that you write clearly. Remember to avoid making grammatical errors. The College Board does not send you an essay and expect you to write the entire thing yourself. I know that this sounds easy to say, but in reality it is not. If you put in the effort, there is nothing that can stop you from succeeding.
